Charles E. Murphy’s specialty is Maritime Law. He works with his clients on Admiralty litigation in federal and state courts, defense of suits against vessel owners and marine construction companies including claims for wrongful death and injury at sea, Marine insurance disputes, Vessel casualty: collision, sinking, grounding, Disputes involving yacht manufacturers and shipyards, Charter party disputes, Maritime and commercial arbitrations, Cargo damage and cargo contamination claims, Maritime security proceedings – vessel arrest, Rule B attachment, U.S. Coast Guard civil and criminal investigations and enforcement proceedings, Property disputes, Marine casualty pollution response, Salvage litigation, Vessel purchase and sale and Defense of U.S. Coast Guard proceedings against captains’ licenses.
